Bonvit began in retail, starting in 1973 as Kings Cross Health Foods, in the heart of Sydney, right under the iconic Coke sign at the top of William Street, in what was considered in those days to be an ‘interesting’ part of town.

One of the first and few 100% dedicated health food stores in Sydney, Kings Cross Health foods and Bonvit were among the pioneers of Australian Health Foods. Joe Gerardis an innovative retailer with bold ideas developed his first ‘shop’ into importing and manufacturing under this now exceptional Australian label. Today, over half a century later, Joe’s legacy is Bonvit, a premium Aussie brand that he was as proud of as we are today, focused on delivering a select suite of quality products, held to the highest Australian and global standards.
